Paper Chrysanthemum Tutorial

Hello everyone :)
Today's tutorial is this fabulous paper chrysanthemum.
Here's what you will need:
Thin cardstock or paper
Scallop punch or Nestabilities scallop die in 3 sizes
Coordinating ink pad
Ranger blending tool or make-up sponge
Embossing ball tool
Mouse mat or newspaper
Wet adhesive such as glossy accents or PVA

Here's the how

Cut 2 large, 2 medium & 3 small scalloped circles from cardstock or paper.
Using the blending tool and ink pad ink the 1st small circle completely,  the 2nd small circle around the inside edge and the 3rd small circle lightly on the edge.
Cut into each scallop on the circles almost to the centre to create petals.
Starting with the Fully inked small circle place it ink side down onto the mouse mat (or newspaper)
Run the embossing tool from the tip of each petal in towards the centre of the circle. The fully inked circle needs to be almost a ball as it form the centre of the flower.
Repeat with the other 2 small inked circles making them slightly more open and with the inked side face up on the mouse mat, so that the inked edges are on the inside.
Emboss the other 4 circles
Stack the circles together adhering each layer.
The finished flower :)
More ideas!!
Try inking all the circles with different shades of ink. Remember that the centre one will be darker.
Stamp onto the circles before inking and cutting.
Try using crackle glaze, glossy accents or UTEE.
Add Stickles to the edge of the circles before cutting.
Try making them from Grunge board.
Thanks for joining me today :)

Have Fun!
